Assistant Project Manager
Sean Shields-Mercier is an Assistant Project Manager at Onshore Construction & Development, where he plays an integral role in overseeing project coordination, client communication, and the alignment of field and office operations. He contributes to each phase of the construction process—from budgeting and subcontract management to closeout—ensuring every project reflects Onshore’s commitment to quality, safety, and precision.
A graduate of the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management, Sean distinguished himself as the top student in his class and was recognized with both the H. Duff Williamson Award in Estimating and the Flour Program Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Construction Safety Award for exceptional academic and leadership excellence. During his time at UF, he also served as President of Gator Safety Professionals, where he led initiatives to strengthen safety culture and was selected by his peers as the program’s Student Leader.
Known for his proactive approach and collaborative mindset, Sean is passionate about delivering projects that exemplify craftsmanship, innovation, and integrity—while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement across every level of the build process.
